"dedicated to the memory of Jehovah's Witnesses and their minor children who died as a result of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society's organizational decrees banning blood transfusions, organ transplants and skin grafts (1967-1980), and vaccinations, and discouraging care by psychiatrists and psychologists - as well as other individuals whose deaths due to suicide, abandonment, etc., are attributable to the Watchtower Society."Adorned with virtual "stone" markers and plaques, the Watchtower Victims Memorial website resembles a real-life cemetery. Sixty-three names are listed so far, most documented from published news reports. The website is a work in progress with a footnote indicating that the names listed "constitute only a small sampling of the victims who should be included" according to published statistics on the number of sect members rejecting transfusions. An online form allows visitors to add additional names. An electronic counter shows 3515 visitors since we created the Memorial website less than 2 months ago.
