Just wanted to thank you for being here. It's
been about 2 years ago now that I first started "surfing" the net.
Naturally, as a JW I did a search on "Jehovah". I found allot of
sites that sounded apostate in nature so I avoided them. Your site,
"Comments from the
Friends" sounded like a JW site. Of
course I found that you were not a JW site but rather a Christian site
dedicated to bringing JW's into the real light. For this, I thank you. It has
literally changed my life. I am now serving no man but the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks for being here.

...I just remembered, it was around that same
time that I asked you for free copies of your newsletter. I was busted. My 21
year old daughter (who is still stuck in the WT) turned me in for having your
newsletter and for reading Ray Franz' book. In fact as I was told that I was
going to be talked to by the elders, it just so happened that it was the CO's
visit. So after his last meeting on Sunday, before the out briefing of the
elders, I asked the CO for a few minutes of his time in private. We spoke for
about an hour and a half. (Keeping the elders waiting the whole time for their
meeting...hehehehe) I told him what I was reading and what I was thinking. He
merely gave me the rules that as long as I didn't share these things with
others, that I would be OK. The elders never spoke with me. At the time, it
was rather difficult, the P.O. was my good friend and business partner. This
was in NC. We had to move away to Colorado to get away from the entire
situation. Even our landlord was a JW. Thank God we are out. And thank you
for your part.
