Subject: Re: Need Help in Child Custody Case!
I knew the Watch Tower Society controlled very carefully what was said in
court rooms...I had seen the brochure about Child Custody cases that they put
together. But until I actually spent two weeks this last July, every day, in
court with a man who is an EX, and with Duane Magnani (An EX JW who is brought
in as an expert witness against the WTS), fighting against a JW woman and her
non JW skank attorney and two reps from the WTS in a child custody case, I
didn't realize the extent to which the JWs take their Spiritual Warfare
tactics. .
..The WTS knows the magnitude of what Duane can do against them, and they
then tried to get the whole subject of religion suppressed. The judge said
that since they had brought it up against the Dad, citing that they felt he was
unfit and unchristian and an adulterer, that they were stuck with it..they made
the bed and had to lay in it.
I came in to both be a moral support to the family, and to transcribe the
proceedings so that the family could refer to them later in their strategies.
The JWs attorney tried to get me and my lap top thrown out of court, because
they said "She's writing down every word we say!" ... I couldn't
believe what my fingers had to type, so stunningly bold were their lies.
Since the JWs believe that anyone who is an enemy of Jehovah is not
"entitled to know the truth," which basically includes anyone who is
not a JW and all governments and representatives of governments, like judges,
they proceeded to lie, lie, lied LIE and tell semi -and "half" truths
under oath in front of that judge! ...
The JWs filibustered and objected to EVERYTHING that was presented as
evidence by the EXJW's side, thus killing all the courts docketed time. Two
solid weeks of it.
... They tried to make it sound like they didn't HAVE to raise their kids as
JWs--that they didn't HAVE to listen to the WTS--that they had normal lives and
let the kids do normal things--and would heartily welcome the other parents
taking the kids and celebrating the holidays with them.
They denied that the WT was the "last word" on all matters
JW--.they denied that they are required to accept that the WTS is GODS
Organization--said all that was what they believed because they CHOSE to
believe it and not because they HAD to believe it... that she does NOT tell her
daughter to shun her father, that she NEVER said that Daddy would die at
Armageddon and that no one at the Kingdom hall was saying that to the little
girl either--they had a letter that had that EXACT wording in it from a Sister
to the child, but it was inadmissible because it was "hearsay."
...People going against the JWs in court should assume NOTHING--especially
do not assume that the JWs will play fair or shoot straight. They believe this
is war and that to lie to "Gods enemies" is what he wants them to
do--and Gods enemies in this case and all cases--is anyone that is not a JW.
... The JWs attorney was giggling and talking about playing golf with the
kid's appointed Guardian ad Litem, who also was in his pocket--and saying that
the kid "shouldn't get any more doctors to examine her because it was only
a stalling tactic by the DAD" (when in fact it was THEY who were bringing
motions before the court every single day, running up the bills and basically
sucking the Dad dry so he would give up).
I have never felt so helpless--but I also felt like they, making a mockery
of God as they did, that HE did notice and HE would set this thing straight!
It may take a few years but the child would see quickly enough what had
happened. I don't see her becoming a JW--not ever--.and that will be the
biggest slap back.
So if you ever find yourself in court with them, just don't forget, they are
nasty, devious, insidious and hateful--and they are damn good at it. They have
this down to a science.
